Very useful app for helping our 3 kids learn about money. Easy to operate, top up money and look at spending/saving. It can be used in lots of places but my son walked to our local milk bar with his friend to by an ice-cream and the card declined. Because the shop sold cigarettes the card would not work, this is just something to be aware of with the Spriggy card.

Easy for my child to use, he has special needs so it was important to me that he understood how to use the card. We have set chores for him and he now know how much he gets at the end of the week.

This service is so easy to use. As a single parent also it’s great to be able to give your kids money to get something whilst they’re staying at the other parent’s house and not having to carry cash in case I want to allow kids to have a canteen day at school or something is great! Love the notifications you get so you can see their spending. Love that we can reward certain chores or life wins… And the kids love having it. Very good way to teach them about money and spending versus saving. Such a great idea and we have had zero problems so far with the app & cards. Highly recommend this.

I wish I had got this sooner! The app is so easy to use. The only problem I'm experiencing is that I can't add another parent. The kids have only had their cards for a few weeks but my daughter is already becoming smarter with her spending and my son is doing great, saving all of his money!

Such a fantastic app! I started using this when the “I wants” were keeping I’m every-time we went into a store. Not only is alright reliable and safe to use, Spriggy has helped teach him the value of a dollar through chores as well as saving for big items, and the constant “I wants” has stopped! I couldn’t recommend Spriggy enough!

Super easy to use, the card designs are so cool my kids absolutely love it. I personally love how I can have a digital chores list and it’s automatically paid to my kids, chores lists haven’t worked in the past on paper or the pocket money system because I simply forget to pay them for certain jobs sometimes and then they get slopping with their chores I get sloppy ect. This is so much better. My only suggesting is make some cards & designs for the parents too 😂

Being able to have a shared payment platform with my child has been life changing, particularly as he reached the “tween” stage. Him being able to see the money he is making as it grows has encouraged him to both earn more and save more, and it means more as he spends it and can also see the consequences of doing that. Prior to him having a Spriggy card, he had also lost around $200 over the course of a year or so by losing cash out of a pocket or a phone case or losing a wallet all together. The ability to give people a link to pay into has also been so helpful and made it easier for relatives to send gift money and for people to pay him when he began an odd jobs business. As he’s gotten older and in particular, started high school, It’s really the convenience of him having a card we can put money onto for him to buy things for himself, like lunch when he’s at school or out with friends, but also for the added convenience of being able to say “I’ve put money on your card, can you stop and get milk and bread on your way home please.” The way the app is set up for kids is very clear and easy to understand and a great precursor into the sprk platform and I would, and do, recommend it to all parents.

I’m able to change the reward amount for each individual chore, meaning my daughter has to complete her responsibilities in order to get her pocket money, but also additional pay for those bigger jobs she has really earned! I like using Spriggy for my grandson Caleb. I know he has access to money if he needs it and hopefully he is starting to understand how'money works' and the responsibility that goes with it.

I feel as if this is helpful to keep an eye on everything from location as it pops up when they are using it at what location to household tasks - do you want to earn money for brushing your teeth or washing up? It saves you from giving them your card details and them spending all your money on fortnite or wish, and they can add it to their apple pay and buy things online where as bank cards do not allow this feature for undern14 years. Very useful for independent style kids.

Great customer service. Great card that lets you decide what amount to give your child. You have an app that you can control the balance of a debit card. Good to use for the canteen at school, outings, school camps for extra money for souvenirs, great for topping up pocket money or if they go with family on an outing they can carry their own money. Great for teaching kids about money and buying things. Fantastic for kids with disabilities that go with a support worker as you can decide how much goes on the card and the card can be used like a normal debit card in every business. We have used this card for years now and haven’t had any problems at all.

Fantastic app for young ones to manage finances and savings. Our youngest has been using it for over a year now and has managed saving goals and grown awareness of the impact of spending his money. It has given him a little taste of independence whilst keeping us aware of what he is spending his money on. Having his own debit card feels much safer than carrying cash around too!

Spriggy is great. It can be used to teach children about earning pocket money by completing set jobs. This gives children a sense of earning money and introduces them to the real world and how money is earned by being an active contributing/working member in society. It also a provides extended family members a way to contribute towards savings goals or big purchases at birthday or Christmas times. I like how as a parent I can receive alerts when the card is used by my child and that I can stop the card from being used if required. I am looking forward to my son’s Spriggy account growing with him as he advances through his teenage years and gets his first job.

A great way to help kids learn the value of saving. The value of saving was instilled in me at a young age and it has got me in a good financial position today. Recently we had an issue with a disputed transaction and the team at Spriggy were very helpful and resolved the issue promptly. I highly recommend Spriggy to help train your children to save.

Got to love Spriggy as my son can organise his own money and doesn’t have to carry cash around with him. Funds are easily deposited to his account and transferred towards his savings goals if he wishes. Easy to apply more funds should an emergency arise and use is mainly via app so no need to carry his card around with him.

I have been with Spriggy for a couple of years and find everything fantastic!!!!! I have 3 grandsons that have cards and when it’s birthdays or Xmas it’s just so convenient to deposit money in their cards, we are in the process of saving, they are getting the hang of saving, one of them in particular loves to watch his balance increase, and always wants to do jobs. Easy and convenient way to teach kids to practice saving and using a card before they get to the real world.

Spriggy was very quick to assist with removing 2 of our older kids who have moved to a bank account. Their left over funds were moved to the parent wallet, with no need for a prolonged discussion like I have experienced whenever dealing with other organisations that ask for confirmation a dozen times before doing what you asked. Our two youngest are still using and loving Spriggy and I am impressed with the support team.

Love this! Spriggy is easy, reliable, super helpful transferring money and good to have the alerts for activity and for talking and educating on money since kids rarely see it physically these days. Great tool for kids.

We love Spriggy. I have had it for about a year now and it has given my daughter with learning difficulties a chance to learn about money. She has learnt the fun of saving and reaching a goal. She also enjoys being able to having money to spend when she goes down the street. She knows exactly how much she has. I like it as I can top it up. Change the balance in her spendings and move it to her savings if it’s getting to much.

Great app - perfect way for me to teach my kids about money. They love it, it's easy to use and it's so convenient for me and my hubby. My oldest has set up a bunch of savings goals and my youngest can't stop asking me to do more chores around the house to earn money! I also love the visibility I get over spending as a parent, still having some level of control is really important for me.

My family has been using Spriggy for about a year now, my son is 6 and absolutely loves his Batman card. He's definitely learning some surprisingly sensible money habits; saving towards bigger items, doing extra chores to earn a bit more so he can buy what he wants and generally being a bit more sensible with how he spends his money. It's dead easy to use, makes managing pocket money a set-and-forget thing for us parents, and is helping my son learn about money. What's not to love? I heartily recommend it!

Great app easy to use kids love the responsibility and having there own freedom

I heard about Spriggy a couple of years back, and wish I'd taken it up sooner. It's so easy to use, saves having to scramble for cash to give to my kids, or worse yet hand my own card over for them to use. I control how much money goes across to Spriggy, and I'm now finally paying my kids regularly for chores, which means they're getting done! Tops all round.

Great system for paying my boy for his chores and rewards. He's 5 so money easily gets lost but i keep the spriggy card in my wallet, he also loves it and is motivate to do chores, had and issue recently at a McDonald's though, he was buying a happy meal and it kept declining, after 3 attempts it finally worked, minor issue. Still, great for teaching him the value of money and to work for it.

Spriggy has provided our children with a usability of money- in a time when cash is not accepted (Covid). Pocket money is delivered weekly and now they have access to their own money- rather than raiding our wallets. They are happy because now if we forget, Spriggy remembers for us.

I find the Spriggy app and cards for my two children great to work with. The interface is very straight forward to use, I especially like the ‘saving goals’ option probably like most parents. The kids can tap their cards anywhere and when putting money on the car it, of course is instant.

It has taught my 8 year old the value of money within the first 30 days. He has gone from the kid who asked for EVERYTHING to questioning a chocolate at coles because he has to buy it himself with his own money I Definetly Recommend!

Wow. How awesome is this card. Amazing, cheap, kid friendly, adult friendly. So easy to use. Great for sending link to family and friends so they can put money into kids accounts for special occasions. Then, you have the option to put what ever amount into a savings area where the kids can’t access it (maybe some adults need this too). We love it.

My son started high school but is only 12 and can't get a debit card. Spriggy is perfect for our family I set chores and he can get paid instantly. I can also put money on his card instantly if he needs money for anything else. He has started his own goals and savings. Wonderful way for children to learn about saving and spending!

I really like using the cards for kids...the only thing is topping up the account I have to be really organised & transfer it into the parent wallet so there’s enough to pay their pocket money! It does save me constantly trying to remember to have cash at hand - because who does that these days- and the right amount at that!

To begin with I ordered 2 Spriggy cards so I could know where my children were spending money especially my older son who is 15, but once he knew that he couldn’t withdraw money he didn’t want to have any thing to do with it so I canceled his card and just kept one for my younger 12 year old, But since he has had it his older brother who wanted nothing to do with it in the beginning is forever asking him to borrow it and if I would put a couple of dollars on it coz he knows I don’t just want to give him money, it’s a good idea but I think once they r saving for a goal and gave put it across to their savings they need more help to keep it there like need their parents to access it or something to make it that little bit harder...

She can earn extra money each week by doing extra chores around the house and can then see the money she has earned going into her spriggy account - very rewarding and motivating for her. The best thing is the account is in her name and she has control of her account which is assisting in her making decisions about spending and saving!!! (completely monitored by me) - win win for mother and daughter - brilliant!!!!!

I love the whole concept. Waiting for the cards to arrive in the mail but have easily set up everything else as we wait for them. Love the way each account can be customised with a profile picture. What I’m not so happy about? No monthly option for setting up direct debits into the parent account (some of us get paid monthly...), and my daughters and I are super unimpressed with the fact there are more superheroes options for boys! Only superwoman for the girls where as there are three choices for boys, why? This needs fixing immediately! But otherwise, love it!

We are really loving the service Spriggy offers it's been a game changer for us paying pocket money for chores (as like a lot of people we don't often have cash in our wallets everything is done on our cards). It's a fabulous, and for her exciting, way to teaching our daughter about money & saving. She feels very grown up having her own debit card to use for purchases and it has actually made her think far more carefully about the purchases she wants to make. The App is so easy to use for both parents & kiddos, the team at Spriggy are also extremely helpful & I really believe all families need to know Spriggy exists!

So far so good! Control down to the last dollar... $1 for each small chore and it's so easy for them to rack up a decent amount of pocket money this way, plus a tangible reward for each 'plus' behaviour along the way! Saves that no-small-change drama, too.

Although Spriggy has a cost attached i still find it very useful for my 12 year old in high school to have a visa card that I can top up at any time rather than having to always have cash on me. It is also good to know in an emergency she would be able to get to some money if needed. The app is really easy to use and its very easy to top up her card and to check balance and statement of expenditure. We have yet to use the chores function but it seems like a great idea.

The team members @ Spriggy have been so lovely and helpful. It took me a while to work it all out but my kids picked it up faster than me! I’m all set up and sorted now, it works so much better than getting cardless cash with a minimum of $20....thank you Team Spriggy!!

I setup Spriggy for my Daughter about 5 months ago. It has been very handy for her 'emergency' type of spending at tuckshop etc. We've setup chores and weekly pocket money. The chores are great, as they get to tick them off, and as parents, we get to review and approve the job done. The automatic weekly pocket money is by far the best feature IMO. Saves me thinking about getting cash out for her. She has the freedom of being a grown-up (aka "looking cool") with her discrete black credit card. I originally had direct debits setup, but that takes DAYS to appear in the parent wallet. Do yourself a favour, and add a debit card, it takes about 10 minutes to appear in the account.

I have only been with spriggy for a short period but it is awesome teaches my children about money and savings would recommend to anyone very happy customer.

Spriggy Saved Me.... My daughter is 9 and was always asking me to buy her things, now that she has this card and can see her savings coming in and disappearing she values money a lot more. Fantastic way of teaching the kids how to save as well as a great way of knowing the kids can get access to emergency funds if there about and about. Our daughter wanted an Apple Watch and she’s now managed to save enough for it. Saved us heaps. Now she actually looks at prices rather than just just saying can I have. Thanks Spriggy. Maybe only only a few more options for a teenager friendly cards as the little pig one is a little young now.

And we also loved it when a transaction declined because she'd put too much into her spending account and had to make a quick decision about how to fix that. For us, this is money very well spent. My family LOVES Spriggy! My sons love having their own Eftpos/Visa car and that they can spend their own money in store or online. They use the app to check their accounts, set themselves savings goals and transfer funds electronically from their savings to their spending accounts. I love that I know longer have to remember to get cash out to provide weekly pocket money and that I can quickly and easily add additional funds to their accounts whenever they've earned a little extra.

We love it. The kids know that they will actually get their pocket money on the same day every fortnight. They don’t have to bother me to be paid, and I don’t have to keep remembering to get money out or end up owing them heaps because I keep forgetting to pay them. They are more willing to do their chores and extra jobs cause they know that they will actually be paid for it. They love seeing their balance and watching their savings grow. They have more self control over spending because they can see the results of it in their bank balance.

Awesome idea! My boys (aged 10 and 8) have had fun working with this, learning how to budget their funds and deciding whether to spend money or not. The card is very easy to use, and once the boys were shown how to operate it, they've needed no other prompting. One of them recently misplaced his card while on holiday, it was easy to block the card against use then reactivate it when it was found. Transferring funds between the parent wallet, the kids' cards, and savings is very easy with the latest update. Funds transfer into the wallet is very quick, and you can set up a regular pocket money amount to be paid automatically. Not so great/ideas for improvement: when the apps crash, there's no other access to your info. You cannot access any of it online at this stage, though when you do have issues the Spriggy team are very friendly and offer solutions. The app can be a little tricky to work out just to start, but it's easily navigated once you are familiar. I do a 'pay per chore' style of pocket money (ie, if they don't work they don't get paid, just like in real life), so need to transfer on a regular basis, but that is my choice. Very happy to pay the annual service fee ($30 for each card) as there are no other fees, but it would've been great to get a reminder email just before it came out... My 5yo daughter cannot wait till she is old enough for a card of her own, and while they've updated the piggy card for older kids, it would be nice to also have girly options for those of us who have princesses :D

This card is a god send my son is Autistic and he loves having his own card. You can transfer as much as you like into their wallet. Only thing I find is that you can only transfer into your wallet in multiples of 10. Would recommend this card

Our Spriggy cards have made kids' spending a way to teach them about earning money and budgeting as well as shopping. What a chance of focus! They now suggest tasks they can do around the house in order to get pocket money on their cards. They also talk about their saving goals. Sometimes I can just send them into the shops to buy groceries and pay them back via the Spriggy App. They love it! I love it!

great concept , my 13 and 14 year old kids now can have a debit card to use without needing to carry cash with them. I can see what they spend on and top up is so easy

We have been using spriggy for a while now for our children and cannot recommend Spriggy and their pocket money managaement app highly enough. My two boys whom never could save a $1 previously are now avid savers. My 12 year old is saving for a car for when he is 16-17, as he can understand saving takes time. Thanks again Spriggy

This has given my 2 children some independence & it does make life simpler for myself. My oldest son has forgotten to pack lunch for school & it has been so easy to put money onto his card & he is now setting savings goals.

This has been a welcome relief! Because we don't use cash very often we always seemed to have trouble with pocket money. I found it very helpful only problem is one of the accounts is verey hard to log in 2 but the other 2 I have work find.

Our kids have been getting pocket money for household jobs since they were small. We wanted to get them their own Eftpos cards, But banks don't offer cards to kids under 14. Then we stumbled upon Spriggy. Now we didn't have to keep pulling money out to give to them and no cash in the house. They now have their own cards to buy things at the shops and online (so they don't use mine, bonus). They feel more independent and THEY have to keep track of how much they are spending and have left, especially when they want something expensive, just like in life... Life Skills. So happy we found Spriggy!

Fantastic easy way to give my son pocket money knowing it's safe in an account and that I can lock if he misplaces his card ( may have already used this function a few times) and found it again. And the response from the team when messaging questions is super fast and very friendly.

Very quick and easy to set up and my 11 year old enjoys the app. Tracking his savings and spending is an awesome feature for both child and parent.

Whilst there was a little bit of confusion to start with after adding a family member and the account kept locking, Dana was extremely helpful (just 2 days before Christmas I might add) in ensuring we were up and running in time for Christmas money! The kids love being able to see how close they are to their savings goals, and being able to add a picture makes them remember exactly what they are saving for. It being in the app and not physically cash pocket money makes it easier for me to just set and forget to make sure pocket money gets paid and makes it less tempting for them to spend it. Being able to choose your own card also helps give them some autonomy too (some more options for SPRK would be nice as kids don’t lose their personality when they’re teens but that’s only minor). The app is really easy to use and being able set up auto transfers helps me as I completely forget to do pocket money otherwise. Kids can see how much the things they want actually cost and why they can’t just have it when they want it and watch their savings grow each week/fortnight/month.

How Fantastic is Squiggy. My kids and I love the app. Since using Squiggy my kids have started to learn the value of money and also how money is earned. Squiggy works much better than just opening up a simple bank account. Kids are able to see exactly how much they are earning and what they need to do to earn that money. It also shows them what they miss out on if they don’t do the jobs. I love the fact that they can transfere money into savings and set there own goals. Our Teen has had his Spriggy card going on 4 years.. The app is so easy to use, & family can send him Birthday & Christmas money via the app. We used to use the chores feature when he was younger, but now, we simply transfer his pocket money to his card. We pay $30 per year, & there’s no monthly fees like there is with a Big Bank. It’s such a great service for the kiddos.

Spriggy is the perfect way to teach kids about money! You can set up savings goals and can also keep track on their spendings as you get notifications every time they make a purchase. My daughter loved it and the independence it gave her! Would highly recommend :)

The whole Spriggy initiative is fantastic and was great for both my children. It helped them learn to control their finances and how to save. The independence of the card meant they could shop and order online in a safe manner. Linking chores and having saving goals enabled them to save for bigger goals. Unfortunately they are older teens now needing a regular account for work.

We love Spriggy, it has helped our girls aged 10 and 11 learn the value of money, how to save and how much to spend, now they pay for their own items and realize how much things cost and how much they will have left, they don’t always buy things now they know the value of using their own money.

This has been a great first way for my daughter to experience her first debit card and learn how to handle her own money. Having access as a parent and being able to see what she’s spending gives some confidence in this as a first step. It’s also easy for grandparents or friends to contribute into the account.

I have a sprig account for my 10yr old niece and 5yr old nephew and its wonderful. They especially love having their own themed bank cards to tap and go at places like Woolworths when they want to purchase a treat its done with their own money that they've earned through chores etc. I find the app really great and it helps family be able to easily give the kids money. Really great way for us to teach the little ones about money.

We've been using Spriggy for just over a year now. My daughter has developed an understanding of receiving and spending money that she didn't have prior. Adding money to the card is easy which means I don't have to carry cash around anymore, plus I can look at the spending that happens.

Spring is great way for kids to save very easy to understand and always checking in to see if we are allways happy with the service only thing I would change would be the saving limit cause can only save 1000 would like a higher option and also the option to allow cash with draw only on occasions

Anyone wanting to teach their children to save and budget, should try Spriggy. I use it for my 7yr old Great Grandson and find it exremely usefull. My GGS is able to see his money increase as he does his chores. He can also keep track of thing he wants to buy for himself, as well as how much spending money (lollies, snacks etc) he has.
